June 20, 2022 - As part of the compulsory course, 49 students and 02 lecturers from Library and Information Department, Faculty of Social Sciences & Humanities, Can Tho University paid a visit to TDTU INSPiRE Library.
The objective of this visit was to provide students with an insight into the library of higher education. It provided students with a practical real-world perspective on different functions in the library such as operation and management, learning resources and services, learning commons areas design at TDTU INSPiRE Library.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bui Loan Thuy, Director of INSPiRE Library had a discussion with Ms. Nguyen Huynh Mai - Acting head of Library and Information Department and Ms. Huynh Thi Trang on library management experience, development plan, work culture and employment opportunity for students at TDTU INSPiRE Library.
The Library and Information Department, Faculty of Social Sciences & Humanities at Can Tho University provides master program on library and information, equips students with a broad understanding of the principles of librarianship and information work, of the organisation and management of libraries and other information agencies, and of the handling, storage and retrieval of information in all media.
