April 27, 2023 - Chulalongkorn University Library (Thailand) led by Ms. Pimnapa Amaritworachai - Director of the Thailand and ASEAN Information Center visited and worked at INSPiRE Library. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bui Loan Thuy - INSPiRE Library manager and her colleagues received and worked with the delegation.
At the meeting, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bui Loan Thuy highlighted the achievements of INSPiRE Library in providing the best resources and services for research, teaching and learning activities at TDTU. Besides, she also expressed her deep gratitude to the leaders and librarians at Chulalongkorn University Library for the collaboration in successfully hosting the international conference DIDL2022 in July 2022.
On behalf of Chulalongkorn University Library, Ms. Pimnapa Amaritworachai expressed her impression of the achievements of TDTU as well as INSPiRE Library, especially after touring TDTU's Tan Phong Campus and visiting its facilities. As close partners for many years, the two sides agreed to continue to carry out cooperation activities on staff exchange in order to share experiences in management and operation of modern libraries as well as co-hosting the LibTalk - a forum on the trends of library development around the world in 2023.
Chulalongkorn University Library and TDTU INSPiRE Library officially established the partnership through a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signed in 2019 and have implemented the Memorandum of Understanding in many specific activities such as: successfully organizing the Conference "Modern Library Services" in 2019, the international conference "Developing Intelligent Digital Libraries: International Experience – Proposed Solutions for Vietnam" (DIDL2022).
