February 21, 2023 - TDTU INSPiRE Library has received 81 students and lecturers of the Library Information Department, Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities.
This field trip at INSPiRE Library was conducted by the Faculty of Social Sciences & Humanities - Can Tho University to help students get the hands-on experience in the field of library, gaining related knowledge and understanding the connection between the their courses and how they are implemented in work life; otherwise, getting the most authentic view of the future working environment, especially in the university library system. During the visit, the students had a talk with many library staff in different positions in many topics such as: library organization and operation, library services design, digital transformation.
After a tour around the library building, the leaders of TDTU Library and librarians gave speeches to the students and joined the Q&A session. This helped students grasp the job requirements in the market as well as have good preparation for their career path.
Ngo Chau Kiet, Library Information K46 Class said: "The building is very spacious with rich and diverse resources for learning and research. I am very impressed with the Materials Collection displayed at the 5th Floor as well as the virtual library on Library's homepage to help readers and visitors tour the entire Library building in such a convenient way."
