On the afternoon of August 20th, 2018, the event "President Ton Duc Thang - a big personality" was taken place at the 10F Hall by TDTU INSPiRE Library and the university's Youth Union to celebrate the 130th anniversary of the birth of President Ton Duc Thang (August 20th,1888 - August 20th, 2018).
The event aims to inspire the young generation about Uncle Ton's revolutionary moral example and commend the elite members of TDTU Youth Union who were born and raised in An Giang province - Uncle Ton's hometown.
The event also featured Talk with author Pham Duong My Thu Huyen, Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Museum, who published the book "Ton Duc Thang with the Saigon Workers' Movement from the early 20th century to 1930.
