On the morning of September 27, 2018, Mr. Max Phua, Managing Director of World Scientific Publishing has visited and worked at TDTU INSPiRE Library.
World Scientific, headquartered in Singapore, is one of the world's leading academic publishers specializing in science books and journals in the fields of mathematics, economics, computer science, engineering, environment, chemistry, physics, medical, etc. On the visit, the publishing's representative discussed on the library user's needs for high-quality academic resources as well as expressed their wish to provide valuable academic materials to the users at TDTU. INSPiRE Library's managers also shared their thoughts of the potential collaborative aspects as well as the particular manners of using academic resources on campus. At the end of the meeting, Mr. Phua also took time visiting the Library building to understand more about the spaces, services and facilities, and resources available here.
