Description:

Establishing on November 2004, Scopus is Elsevier's largest abstract and citation database, including peer-reviewed research resources and valuable web data. With documents from more than 5.000 international publishers, SciVerse Scopus provides the research community resources that is easy to search and support for research activities in fields: Sciences, technology, medicine, social science, even including the latest field arts and humanities.

3. ScienceDirect

Description:

ScienceDirect is a website which provides access to a large bibliographic database of scientific and medical publications of the Dutch publisher Elsevier. It hosts over 18 million pieces of content from more than 4,000 academic journals and 30,000 e-books of this publisher. The access to the full-text requires subscription, while the bibliographic metadata is free to read. ScienceDirect is operated by Elsevier. It was launched in March 1997.

Description:

ProQuest Central is the largest, multidisciplinary, full-text database available in the market today. This resource provides access to 47 of ProQuest's complete databases, with a variety of content types across over 175 subjects, making this the broadest single research resource in the world. Unlike other resources, ProQuest Central is made up of separate, fully searchable databases which may be used together or separately.

While ProQuest Central provides access to millions of much-coveted full text articles from thousands of scholarly journals, it also provides access to information not available in other aggregated resources such as:

  • Over 100,000 full text dissertations in the areas of business, psychology, physical sciences, health, education and more

5. STD - Vietnam Sciences and Technology Database

Description:

STD is a full-text database of Science and Technology documents in Vietnam, was built and updated by the National Agency for Science and Technology Information since 1987. Currently, STD has more than 250,000 records, of which 185,000 records are attached original document in PDF file format. STD is updated weekly. On average, 11,000 new documents has been beeing updated each year.

The Vietnam science and technology task database is the largest bibliographic database on science and technology tasks, including the ongoing scientific and technological tasks database and the databases of results of scientific and technological tasks. 9. MathSciNet

Description: 

MatSciNet is a web version of the Mathematical Reviews database from the American Mathematical Society AMS. It contains over 2 million reviews, abstracts and bibliographic data on mathematical literature from around the world. The bibliographic data of retrodigitized articles date back to 1864. The database adds up to 80,000 new items per year, most of which are classified according to the Mathematics Subject Classification.

10. TVPL Pro X

Description: 

TVPL Pro X is a database of  Vietnam's legal documents date back to 1945 and regularly updated. It contains 280,000 legal documents; 14,000 Vietnam's key legal documents, precedents, judgments in English.
