When a foreign lecturer’s contract is about to end and will not be renewed, the status should be reported to the library at least 01 week in advanced by his/her Faculty and Department of Administrative Operations. All of his/her on-loan materials will be recalled.

Renew items

  • Items for renewal must be on-loan
  • Items have not been requested by someone else
  • Items can be renewed for 07 more days.
  • Library materials may be renewed online via Library Website or by phone: (028) 37 755 057, Line: 211

How to make a renewal request online

  • Visit Library Website, then select Renewal
  • Enter user name and password 
  • Check the box Renew All to renew all your on-loan items
  • To renew a single item, check the box next to each item you wish to renew then select Renew button.
  • Check the new due date of your items.

Please note: 

The following items cannot be renewed

  • Overdue items 
  • Items requested by another user

 

  • Overdue fines: 20.000 ₫ /01 day/01 item

Please note:

  1. With the breach of library policy for the third time in a year, users may receive a library notice of admonishment.
  • Lost item replacement fee
  1. Refer to the decision of the Presidential Board for each case.
  • Repair fee
  1. The fee for damaged items will be determined by library staff up to the full replacement value of the item, depending on the damage.
  • If the item you require is on loan, you can recall it by place a reserve request to ensure that the item is ready for you when it’s returned.
  • You may reserve on-loan items only.

How to place a reserve request

  • Visit Library Website
  • Select “Reserve” Tab
  • Enter user name and password
  • Check the new due date and the Reserve Reference Number
  • Click “Hold”
  • Check your campus email to know when it’s ready for you.
  • Pick up items at Services Desk, 1st Floor

Please note:

  • Requested item must be a circulating item and must be on-loan.
  • Please check your email to know when the item is returned and ready for you.
  • Items returned will be kept at Services Desk, 1st Floor. Request will be canceled if the item is not picked up within 24 hours.

Read Guidance

  • Users must return borrowed items on time in good physical condition as when they were checked out.
  • Users are responsible for any damage and loss of borrowed items.
  • Library cards and borrowed items are not transferable.
  • Loss of library membership cards must be reported immediately.
  • Borrowed items must be returned on time. An alert email to inform loan periods will be automatically sent to users. You’re advised to check your email regularly.
  • In some certain cases, items may be recalled. The Library will contact to inform you via email or by phone.
