INSPiRE Library organized "Library Orientation Course" for new student
Join the welcoming atmosphere for new students of Ton Duc Thang University; INSPiRE Library organized library orientation course for first year students starting on August 19, 2019; This training will last for 3 weeks, within the series of training activities for library users and is compulsory for all new students.
In the course, students will be introduced and provided instructions on how to locate and use the library's functional, documentary and service areas; regulations and policies of the library; how to exploit databases for learning and research ... In particular, services to support self-study activities, self-study, team work, presentations with multimedia tools; that help students have relaxing and entertaining moments after stressful lessons.
After the training, students were asked to take a test. Achieving the prescribed score and passing the test is a condition for students to be granted the right to use the library. The test will ensure students understand and comply with the provisions of the library; know the use of equipment, application of modern technology of the library and efficient use of resources, services and utilities of the library.
Another condition for students to be granted the right to use the Library is to confirm "Commitment to Copyright and effective exploitation of the library". This is a mandatory condition to ensure that students know and comply with copyright-related content, as well as remind students to exploit the school's investment efficiency for their study.
