Journal Citation Reports

Guidelines: Create a account; How to use

Introduction

Journal Citation Reports (JCR) offers detailed insights and analytics for evaluating and ranking journals based on their citation impact factors. It compiles citation data created by the research community to provide extensive data, metrics, and analyses of the world's most influential journals. These journals are indexed in the Science Citation Index Expanded (SCIE) and the Social Sciences Citation Index (SSCI), which are part of the Web of Science Core Collection.

JCR is unique in being both comprehensive and editorially selective, including all necessary data to understand the indexing components and impact of each journal. The data is curated by a global team of experts who continuously evaluate and select journal, book, and conference proceedings collections mentioned in the Web of Science Core Collection, ensuring accurate journal impact assessments.
