Mandatory TDTU Library Training Online Course is accessible via the TDTU E-learning System. This training is required for all freshmen before they are recognized as members of the Ton Duc Thang University Library User Community. Upon completing the course, students must pass a library skills test, achieving the required score to gain full library access privileges.

  • Enroll in the TDTU Library Training Online Course through E-learning via the Student Portal.
  • Sign the online Agreement for Compliance with Copyright and Effective Library Use.
  • Take the online library training assessment and attain the required score.
  • Note: The training period for new students of K.28 is from September 5, 2024 to November 3, 2024.

Freshmen should temporarily use the guest card account (provided in the email confirming the completion of the TDTU Library Training online course) to access and read online materials on the Library website while awaiting the official card and account.

  • Students are required to bring their own locks to use the Library's locker area.
  • Backpacks and large bags must be kept in the lockers, and library slippers must be worn before entering the Library.
  • Students are responsible for securing and taking care of their valuables (such as mobile phones, laptops, and cashes).
  • The locker area is to be used exclusively for library-related purposes and only during the library's operating hours.

  • Enter through the front guest entrance on the right, following the sign placed at the main entrance, and record your visit at the Service Desk (1st Floor).
  • Exit by following the arrows on the ground to the designated exit gate (using the gate opened for freshmen).
  • Do not use the ground floor elevator to enter or exit the Library.
  • Do not manually push the Library's automatic control gates.
  • This entry/exit procedure is only in place until students receive their official RFID-equipped student ID cards.

  • Always maintain silence in the Library, especially on the 3rd and 4th floors.
  • Food and drinks (like milk tea, coffee, etc.) are not permitted in the Library.
  • Keep water bottles off the tables.
  • Refrain from hanging jackets on the chairs.

Book rooms using the Room Booking Feature on the Library's website. After booking, visit the Information Desks for assistance with room access (if you don't have a chip card or if your card isn't working) and to borrow support equipment like pens, whiteboard erasers, and HDMI cables.

If you don't have an official card or if your card is malfunctioning, please contact the Library staff at the Information Desks for assistance.
