On the morning of June 13, 2024, representatives from the Korea Foundation (KF) Office in Hanoi visited the Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) Library. The KF delegation included Mr. Choi Jae Jin, Representative of the KF Office in Hanoi, and Ms. Ha Huong Thao, Office Specialist. The KF delegation were welcomed by the leaders of the TDTU Library and the International Cooperation, Research, and Training Institute (INCRETI).
During the meeting, two sides has focused on the Korea Corner Project and potential collaborations between KF and TDTU in the near future aimed at enhancing educational exchanges and cultural understanding between Vietnam and Korea. Assoc.Prof. Dr. Bui Loan Thuy, Library manager, expressed heartfelt gratitude for KF's support in enhancing the library's resources over the years. This support has significantly enriched the library's collections and facilitated the learning and studying of TDTU students and faculties.
Following the meeting, the KF representatives toured the library building and the university campus to gain a deeper understanding of TDTU’s modern facilities and dynamic academic environment.
The Korea Foundation, operating under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Korea, is dedicated to promoting cultural exchange between Korea and the international community. Over the years, KF has actively supported numerous cultural exchange initiatives, fostering mutual understanding between the peoples of Vietnam and Korea.
