March 12, 2024 - The Signing Ceremony of the Memorandum of Understanding and the Giving Ceremony of the "Spreading Love" Bookshelf between TDTU INSPiRE Library and Chibooks - Chi Cultural Joint Stock Company took place at the TDTU Library. This special event showcased a shared vision, commitment, and joint effort between the two entities to enhance lifelong learning, foster educational development, and actively contribute to societal progress.

Chibooks was represented by Ms. Nguyen Le Chi - Founder and Director, alongside Ms. Nguyen Thi Chieu - Communications Specialist. The TDTU Library delegation included Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bui Loan Thuy - Library Manager, Ms. Nguyen Thi Thuy Duong - Assistant Director, and other library staff members. Notably, members from the Book Club, representing TDTU students, also attended, highlighting the direct impact of this collaboration on the university community.

The core agenda of the event, including the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), was led by Ms. Nguyen Le Chi and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bui Loan Thuy. This MOU delineates the shared objectives, activities, and specific responsibilities of each party in mutual growth and partnership reinforcement. Chibooks commits to co-organizing and participating in academic events hosted by the TDTU Library, facilitating author meetings, and cultural reading experiences for the TDTU community. Additionally, Chibooks is willing to send experts and personnel to academic events initiated by the TDTU Library, fostering knowledge exchange and educational advancement.

In return, the TDTU Library pledges active collaboration with Chibooks in organizing academic programs and promoting Chibooks' publications within the university. Moreover, the TDTU Library will facilitate internships and career opportunities at Chibooks for TDTU students, strengthening the practical aspects of the partnership.

The Signing Ceremony was not merely a symbolic gesture but a tangible expression of collaboration, highlighted by the Giving Ceremony of the "Spreading Love" Bookshelf, generously sponsored by Chibooks, which comprises 430 books worth over 51 million Vietnamese Dong. This collection will enrich study and research resources at TDTU and underscore Chibooks' commitment to nurturing a reading culture among students.

Following the ceremony, representatives from Chibooks visited the TDTU Library facilities, commending the university's investment in creating an optimal learning environment.

Chibooks, with its 16-year history, commands respect in the Vietnamese and regional publishing industry. Its extensive catalog, including translated foreign literary works and notable Vietnamese publications, reflects its dedication to promoting literature. Additionally, Chibooks' initiatives, such as establishing free bookshelves in schools nationwide, demonstrate its commitment to fostering a reading culture and knowledge dissemination within communities.
