On March 23, 2026, at Hall 6M, INSPiRE Library of Ton Duc Thang University organized the workshop “Applying AI Hay Tools for Learning and Research” with the participation of nearly 550 students. The program featured Mr. Nguyen Hoang Hiep – Chief Operating Officer of AI Hay Joint Stock Company – as the guest speaker.
As AI tools become increasingly popular and widely used by students in their academic activities, the need for proper guidance on how to use these tools appropriately in academic environments has become more important than ever. In reality, while many students have begun exploring AI applications, they still face challenges in verifying information, developing structured academic content, and fully understanding issues related to academic integrity and ethical AI usage. The workshop was organized to support students in moving from spontaneous AI use toward a more purposeful, effective, and responsible approach.
During the workshop, the speaker shared practical experiences in applying AI to learning and research while also introducing ways to use AI Hay as an academic support assistant. The presentation focused on helping students better understand the role of AI and apply it effectively in summarizing documents, developing research ideas, supporting reports and thesis writing, as well as improving information searching and verification skills. The content was delivered through practical examples and real-life scenarios, enabling participants to better visualize how these tools could support their own learning processes.
In addition to the presentation, the workshop also encouraged active student participation through discussions and direct Q&A sessions with the speaker. Many practical concerns were raised and discussed, particularly regarding how to use AI effectively while still maintaining academic honesty. Through these interactions, the program not only introduced technological tools but also contributed to fostering a responsible and selective mindset toward technology use in higher education.
The workshop was one of the practical activities organized by INSPiRE Library to enhance students’ learning and research capabilities in the context of digital transformation. Through the program, INSPiRE Library continues to affirm its role in supporting students in accessing and effectively utilizing emerging technologies, contributing to the development of sustainable learning competencies aligned with the demands of modern education.
