With the help of this visit, the Executive Council could decide how learning spaces, interior design, technologies, facilities and equipments would be built up in the new library of the Vietnam Buddhist University.
The objective of this visit was to provide students with an insight into the library of higher education. It provided students with a practical real-world perspective on different functions in the library such as operation and management, providing learning resources and services, designing learning commons areas at TDTU INSPiRE Library.
The delegates of the Conference included more than 30 leaders of 19 universities and colleges in Ho Chi Minh City and Dong Nai Province.
This visit was organized by the Library and Information Center - TEC in order to give the students the opportunity to get valuable insights on the learning environment provided at TDTU INSPiRE Library.
In order to get the feedback from recipient institutions of the Asia Foundation's books donation project, the representatives of the National Library of Vietnam paid a visit to TDTU INSPiRE Library.
In 2022, 616 universities from 31 Asian countries/regions are ranked. Ton Duc Thang University first appeared in this ranking and was ranked at 73rd, the highest among the 5 ranked Vietnamese universities.
