1. Objectives

This MiniWorkshop is organized to:

• Introduce to the library user community a range of AI tools (both free and licensed versions) currently available at the AI Corner, designed to directly support learning, research, and academic creativity.

• Equip participants with fundamental awareness and skills on how to approach, select, and effectively utilize AI tools safely and appropriately for their academic and research needs.

2. Program Information

Time: 10:00 – 11:30, October 14, 2025
Venue: AI Corner, 4th Floor – INSPiRE Library
Participants: TDTU community

3. Program Content

• Introduction to the AI Corner: orientation, available tools, and services supporting learning and research.

• Hands-on guidance and experience with key AI tools such as:

  • ChatGPT Plus, Scispace, Consensus: supporting essay writing, summarizing materials, and generating research ideas.

  • Grammarly Premium: improving grammar, structure, and academic writing style.

  • Canva Pro, Runway: designing creative slides, posters, and presentation videos.

  • IBM SPSS, Power BI, R: processing and analyzing advanced research data.

• Experience sharing on using AI effectively in study and research—ensuring accuracy and avoiding academic integrity risks.

• Introduction of supporting services at the AI Corner: 1-on-1 consultations, discussion forums, AI information hub, and upcoming advanced training plans.

• Q&A and open discussion.
