As part of the series of activities celebrating Vietnam Book and Reading Culture Day 2026 under the theme “Books - Knowledge - Aspirations for National Development in the Digital Era,” TDTU INSPiRE Library launched the “Proud of Vietnam” Check-in Corner at the History and Politics Space (1st Floor, Library). The activity took place from 15 April to 10 May 2026 in celebration of the 51st anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (30 April 1975 – 30 April 2026).

Designed around the historical theme of 30 April, the check-in space combined a solemn atmosphere with student-friendly and engaging elements through a system of posters, models, archival historical images, and interactive experience areas. The space not only recreated important historical milestones of the nation but also created visually impressive highlights, helping students approach history in a more vivid, modern, and interactive way.

One of the highlights of the activity was the integration of Augmented Reality (AR) technology into the exhibition area. Through personal mobile devices, visitors could scan and interact with various digitized contents such as archival images, historical videos, and visual effects related to the 30 April event. The combination of traditional exhibition spaces and technological experiences offered a new approach to exploring history while enhancing communication and educational effectiveness within the university environment.

During the activity period, the “Proud of Vietnam” Check-in Corner attracted a large number of students, lecturers, staff members, and employees to visit, take photos, record videos, and experience AR content. The space was also integrated with the Library’s online contest celebrating 30 April, creating a connection between on-site experiences and digital content creation on social media platforms. Many shared photos and videos contributed to spreading patriotism, national pride, and the values of peace to the student community in a youthful, positive, and relatable manner.

Through this activity, TDTU INSPiRE Library continued to affirm its role in innovating historical education methods, promoting the value of existing resources, and building an experiential learning environment for users. The combination of books, exhibition spaces, and digital technology not only contributed to promoting reading culture but also helped students strengthen their connection with the historical and cultural values of the nation in the context of today’s digital transformation.
