2. Participants: All students currently studying at Tôn Đức Thắng University.

II. PROGRAM CONTENT

1. Program Title: Developing Reading Habits for Students program – Theme: “A Journey Through the Pages”

2. Details:
Participants will select their favorite work from a list of 12 books nominated for the 7th National Book Awards 2024 and write a review or reflection:

3. Submission Format:

Students submit individual entries (no group submissions).
Entries must be sent as a Word file to the Organizing Committee via email at letronggiau@tdtu.edu.vn or in person at the Information Services Office (Library, 6th Floor, Building G). Include the following information: full name, pseudonym (if any), student ID, and contact number.
The Top 10 entries will move to the online voting round for the “Most Favorite Entry” award.

4. Contest Rules:

a. Format Requirements:

Entries must be typed in Vietnamese, with a maximum of 3,000 words. Font: Times New Roman, size 13, on A4 paper (margins: left 2.5 cm; top/bottom/right: 2 cm).
Submissions must be clear, coherent, and free from significant spelling or grammatical errors.

b. Content Requirements:

Students write a review or reflection on one of the selected books.
Entries must be original and unpublished elsewhere (entries with Turnitin plagiarism rates of 30% or higher will be disqualified).
The writing should highlight the book’s role in inspiring ethics, character development, knowledge, and positive values.
Entries must include personal insights, reflections, and a clear message or life lesson drawn from the book.
Content must be positive, culturally appropriate, and include complete publication information.

5. Scoring Criteria:

Content: Up to 8 points based on alignment with the theme and content requirements.
Format: Up to 2 points based on adherence to format guidelines.
Online Voting: The Organizing Committee will consider the total interactions on submissions posted on the Library’s fanpage. Points will be calculated as follows:
- Reactions (excluding “sad” and “angry”): 1 point per reaction
- Comments (tagging at least 3 friends, no spam or stickers): 2 points per comment
- Shares (with hashtag #hanhtrinhquanhungtrangsach): 3 points per share
- Entries found using fake interactions will be disqualified.
