I. Timeline and Eligibility

2. Eligibility: All students currently enrolled at Ton Duc Thang University.
II. Contest Details
1. Contest Content (Provided by the Ministry of Culture, Sports & Tourism):

Prompt 1:

Question 1: Among the books you have read, which one has had a strong impact on your mindset, igniting your aspirations, determination, pioneering spirit, creativity, and confidence to step into the new era of the nation?

Question 2: Propose an initiative or share an experience to promote reading among specific groups: people living in border or island areas; economically and socially disadvantaged regions; ethnic minorities; the elderly; or individuals with print disabilities. (Clearly state the objective, target audience, proposed activities, and expected outcomes. Initiatives that have been implemented and supported with evidence are encouraged.)
Prompt 2:

Question 1: Write a short literary work (short story) that spreads the love of reading and, through it, inspires personal responsibility, love for family and society, and a desire to build a prosperous, civilized, and happy nation.

2. Submission Guidelines:

Contestants must submit individual entries.

Entries must be sent in Word or video format to the Organizing Committee via email at thuvien@tdtu.edu.vn or directly to the Information Services Department (6th Floor, Library). Include personal details: full name, pseudonym (if any), student ID, and phone number.

The Organizing Committee will select the top 3 entries to represent the university at the national Final Round of the “Reading Culture Ambassador 2025” competition.
3. Contest Rules:
3.1. Format Requirements:

Each student submits an individual entry (no group submissions). Entries must be in Vietnamese and in one of the following formats:
-
Written (typed or handwritten): Max 5,000 words (15 typed pages), Times New Roman, size 13, A4 paper, margins: left 2.5 cm; top, bottom, right: 2 cm.

Video: Length: 5–10 minutes; may include effects/graphics; high-quality image and audio; max 2GB file size; minimum resolution 480px, minimum frame 854x480; accepted formats: .mp4, .avi, .mpeg, .mkv, .klv, etc.; suitable for uploading on YouTube.

3.2. Content Requirements:

Entries must fully address both questions in the selected prompt. Content should be wholesome, appropriate to Vietnamese culture, accurate, and comply with all applicable legal regulations.

Books mentioned must be legally published in Vietnam (recent, timely publications that reflect real-life issues and aspirations for national prosperity are encouraged). Include full publishing information.

Participants who provide a certificate of participation in educational promotion activities at school or in the community will receive bonus points.
3.3. Other Requirements:

Entries must be the original work of the contestant (video entries must be personally narrated or acted by the contestant). Entries must not have been previously submitted, exhibited, published, or entered into any other competition.

If using third-party content (quotes, images, videos, etc.), proper source citation is required. Video entries must comply with intellectual property laws; contestants are responsible for any legal issues related to copyright infringement.

Submitted entries will not be returned. The Organizing Committee may use them to promote the contest and reading culture activities.

Contestants must also complete Form 3 and submit it to the Information Services Department (6th Floor, Library).
4. Scoring Criteria:

Content: Max 6 points – based on how well the content meets the requirements.

Format & Other Criteria: Max 4 points – based on adherence to formatting and additional requirements
