Continuing the INSPiRE Meetup series for students, INSPiRE Meetup #2 with the theme “Spirit of Christmas” was organized by TDTU INSPiRE Library on the evening of December 18, 2025, at The outdoor area on Level 5 of the Library. The program offered a lively and engaging exchange space where students could explore international cultural values through direct interaction and sharing.

The highlight of the event was the exchange session with the guest speaker, Ms. Eini Aho, History teacher currently working at VFIS. With a background in teacher education in Finland and extensive experience teaching in international educational environments, Ms. Eini shared accessible and engaging insights into the culture, customs, and festive life of Finland and the Nordic countries—widely regarded as the homeland of Santa Claus. Through cultural stories and personal experiences gained while living and working in Vietnam, the traditional values of Christmas and the diversity of cultures across countries were conveyed in a vivid and approachable manner.

In an open and interactive atmosphere, students had the opportunity to ask questions and communicate directly with the guest speaker in English, thereby practicing communication skills, building confidence, and broadening their global mindset. This dialogue-based activity not only helped students gain knowledge of international cultures but also contributed to the development of academic communication habits, respect for cultural differences, and proactive engagement in today’s higher education context.

Alongside the exchange session, the program featured Christmas-themed musical performances by special guest singers Nguyet Anh and Issac Thai, together with members of the TDTU WeGrow and Lamps clubs. Winter-inspired melodies and festive-themed minigames helped create a warm, joyful atmosphere and strengthened connections among participating students.

INSPiRE Meetup #2 “Spirit of Christmas” was not only a cultural exchange event but also an experiential space that supported students in developing English communication skills, fostering multicultural understanding, and gradually building confidence in an internationalized academic environment. Through this program, TDTU INSPiRE Library continues to affirm its role as a hub connecting knowledge, culture, and people, accompanying students on their journey of learning and global integration.
