TDTU INSPiRE Library launches Polish Book Corner Project and celebrates successful "Polish Literature: Read & Snap" Contest

November 13, 2023 - In a vibrant ceremony held at the TDTU INSPiRE Library's exhibition lounge on November 13, 2023, the university community gathered to witness the official launch of the Polish Book Corner Project and the exciting award ceremony of the "Polish Literature: Read & Snap" Contest. Distinguished guests, including H.E. Mrs. Justyna Pabian, Chargé d’affaires of the Republic of Poland in Vietnam, and representatives from the Polish National Agency of Academic Exchange, Polish and Vietnamese universities' delegates, added a touch of prestige to the event.

The event was hosted by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bui Loan Thuy, the manager of TDTU INSPiRE Library, who welcomed the attendees and emphasized the significance of cultural exchange through literature and expressed her appreciation for the great support from the Polish Embassy in this Project.

The "Polish Literature: Read & Snap" Contest, a collaborative effort between TDTU INSPiRE Library and the Polish Embassy, witnessed an overwhelming response with over 100 entries. Participants were not only vying for 10 prizes from TDTU but also had the chance to win 30 early-bird prizes generously sponsored by the Polish Embassy in Hanoi.

H.E. Mrs. Justyna Pabian and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bui Loan Thuy took center stage to present awards to the deserving winners, acknowledging their efforts in promoting and appreciating Polish literature. The vibrant atmosphere was a testament to the success of the contest in fostering cultural understanding and literary appreciation among students.

Expressing her joy to be on the TDTU campus, H.E. Mrs. Justyna Pabian commended the collaboration between TDTU and the Polish Embassy, highlighting the contest's success in expanding knowledge about Polish literature. She expressed optimism about the future of the Polish Book Corner Project and wished for continued fruitful collaborations between the TDTU and Polish Embassy.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bui Loan Thuy, in turn, expressed her gratitude for the invaluable support of the Polish Embassy in bringing the Polish Book Corner Project to fruition. She emphasized the importance of such initiatives in creating a rich and diverse library environment for students.
