June 13, 2023 - TDTU INSPiRE Library team led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bui Loan Thuy visited Eastern International University (EIU) Library (Thu Dau Mot City, Binh Duong Province) and had a meeting with Dr. Hoang Thi Thuc - EUI Library Director and her colleagues at EIU Library.
In the meeting, Dr. Hoang Thi Thuc spoke about the construction and operation of EIU Library and its outstanding achievements in recent years. She expected the two libraries will have regular and more specific activities in sharing professional experiences to help improve the quality of library services for learning, research and teaching activities at each university. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bui Loan Thuy shared the professional expertise and practical activities at TDTU INSPiRE Library. The EIU Library tour was also included in the morning.
On behalf of TDTU INSPiRE Library, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bui Loan Thuy extended her gratitude to the EIU Library team for the meeting and expressed her impression with the achievements that the EIU Library has achieved, especially in building smart libraries and smart digital services. Such professional exchange activities between TDTU INSPiRE Library and partner university libraries contribute to enhancing mutual understanding and strengthening the relationships between TDTU INSPiRE Library and other libraries in Vietnam and abroad.
The EIU library is built on the standards of a modern library with its comfortable facilities along with utilities and the automated and intelligent library management system. The EIU library has been in operation since 2011 and was upgraded in 2018 to improve library service quality and user experience.
