Training course on making lecture videos

In 2019, Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) is ranked as number 1 university in Vietnam and TOP 1000 universities in the world by two prestigious ranking bodies, Academic Ranking of World Universities (ARWU) and the World University Ranking by Academic Performance (URAP). TDTU is the most typical example of implementing university autonomy in Vietnam and the pioneer of the renovation of higher education. From the academic year 2018-2019, TDTU has promoted the production and use of lecture videos to replace part or all of the teaching contents, or to be for student's self-study and reference purposes.

Since 2019, INSPiRE library with the mission of providing a full range of facilities for teaching and learning has offer to its users the Studio for purpose of making media products, supporting for the faculties wishing to make lecture videos effectively.

 INSPiRE Library's Studio

On December 19, 2019, INSPiRE library has organized the training course on making lecture videos for its users who are TDTU lecturers. The course is part of the Library's Information Literacy program.

The training course was led by Mr.Nguyen Duc Manh, Reporter - Editor of Ho Chi Minh City Television Station. He shared his experience and suggested the necessary skills to lecturers about how to make lecture videos which is included: How to make scenario, Preparatory works before filming, Presentation skills in front of camera, Post - production work. The training course attracted nearly 100 lecturers to join.

Training course on making lecture videos will have some additional classes in early 2020 to support lecturers who could have not arranged to participate the class on December 19, 2019.
