On the morning of February 28, 2025, the online workshop: “Innovation in Online Teaching: Content Development and Effective Management” was successfully conducted, drawing participation from esteemed teachers, leaders of various Faculties, Institutes, and Centers, as well as heads and deputy heads of departments, probationary staff, and teaching assistants from Ton Duc Thang University. This event established a platform for exchanging practical experiences in optimizing teaching methods and integrating technology into online education.
Within the workshop’s framework, the speakers presented practical solutions to enhance the quality of online education, focusing on course content development, effective management, and elevating the learning experience. Associate Professor Dr. Nghiem Xuan Huy, Director of the Institute of Digital Education and Assessment at Vietnam National University, Hanoi, served as the keynote speaker. He shared his extensive experience in developing online teaching models, highlighting practical lessons from implementations at Vietnam National University, Hanoi. He also emphasized the significance of designing flexible and optimized curricula to improve teaching and learning outcomes.
Additionally, Mr. Thanan Suwannapisit from Coursera offered insights into how the platform provides a diverse array of online courses tailored to learners’ needs, supported by management tools and advanced features powered by artificial intelligence (AI). Likewise, Ms. My Tran, a solutions expert from Flexida and the representative of Quizizz in Vietnam, introduced specific approaches to developing and managing online courses, with an emphasis on enhancing the learning experience and leveraging AI to increase teaching effectiveness.
The workshop also included interactive discussion sessions between the speakers and participants. Topics such as the efficacy of online learning models, methods to sustain engagement between instructors and students, and the integration of AI in education were explored in detail, delivering substantial practical value.
The online workshop on “Innovation in Online Teaching: Content Development and Effective Management” illuminated key practical aspects of applying technology to online education. It provided a valuable opportunity to share and draw inspiration from real-world models in Vietnam and worldwide, while also opening up promising new directions for the future of online education development.
