On the morning of October 14, 2025, the AI Corner Mini Workshop themed “Applying AI Tools for Learning and Research” took place at the AI Corner (Floor 4, INSPiRE Library).

The workshop was conducted by Mr. Ta Van Hanh, aiming to introduce both free and paid Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools that have been integrated and implemented at the AI Corner as part of the Library’s initiative to enhance learning, research, and creativity support services. The program sought to help participants strengthen their digital literacy, gain deeper insights into the role of AI in education, and develop the ability to use AI tools effectively, safely, and appropriately for academic and research purposes.

During the session, students were introduced to the development orientation of the AI Corner and its ongoing support activities. Mr. Tạ Văn Hảnh guided participants through hands-on experiences with several prominent AI tools designed for information retrieval, summarizing materials, data analysis, academic writing, and creative content development. In addition, the workshop shared practical experiences in selecting, combining, and applying AI tools to enhance productivity and innovation in learning and research.

Alongside the hands-on session, the Library also introduced several accompanying support services available at the AI Corner, including 1-on-1 consultations, an academic discussion forum, an AI information hub, and a plan to host a series of in-depth Mini Workshops in the near future.

To encourage active learning participation, the program presented the book “ChatGPT in Practice" to the most engaged student participant.

The AI Corner Mini Workshop marked the launch of a new themed program series at the AI Corner, demonstrating the INSPiRE Library’s commitment to bringing AI technology closer to learners. The initiative contributes to fostering digital skills and creative thinking in learning, research, and teaching at Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU).
