On the afternoon of October 6, 2025, TDTU INSPiRE Library welcomed lecturers and students from the Faculty of Social Sciences and Arts, Saigon University, for a study and field visit.

The program was organized at the request of the Library and Information Science Department, Faculty of Social Sciences and Arts, with the goal of helping students engage with the real-world operations of a modern university library, thereby reinforcing theoretical knowledge and broadening practical understanding. During the visit, library staff provided an overview of the Library’s formation and development, organizational structure, academic and research services, and available resources. The group also toured shared study spaces, information service areas, staff workspaces, and other facilities within the Library building.

The visit provided students with a practical view of how a modern academic library operates and offered an opportunity for direct exchange and learning with professional librarians. This hands-on experience helped students better understand the essential role of libraries in supporting education and research at higher education institutions.

TDTU INSPiRE Library regularly welcomes student and faculty groups from various universities and colleges for academic visits and professional exchanges. This activity is part of the Library’s ongoing commitment to serving the academic community. By hosting such visits, the Library facilitates opportunities for real-world engagement, professional knowledge sharing, and understanding of library management models within the context of educational innovation. It also helps strengthen partnerships, expand collaboration, and promote shared development among educational institutions.
