In commemoration of the founding anniversary of the Vietnam People’s Army on December 22, TDTU INSPiRE Library organized an AR-enhanced book exhibition entitled “Imprints of the Soldier” from December 15 to December 31, 2025, at Level 1 of the Library. The exhibition aimed to honor the heroic traditions of the Vietnam People’s Army while providing the Library user community with opportunities to access historical and political values through authoritative resources presented in formats aligned with the context of digital transformation.

The exhibition featured a curated selection of representative publications on the history of the Vietnam People’s Army, the image of the soldier, and key periods of national struggle and defense. These materials were drawn from the Library’s existing collections and supplemented with newly acquired titles to broaden perspectives and enhance the timeliness and depth of the thematic content.

A key highlight of the program was the integration of augmented reality technology through the Library’s dedicated online exhibition page at

Through this platform, users can scan the covers of featured books to access related videos and supplementary materials, enabling deeper exploration of the content, historical figures, and contexts associated with each publication. The AR feature was designed for flexible use, allowing users to experience it directly at the exhibition area or remotely via the Library’s online platform.

By combining traditional book displays with augmented reality technology, the exhibition enhanced the effectiveness of resource access and presented historical content in a more visual, accessible, and in-depth manner. As a result, the program not only promoted greater use of the Library’s history and military collections but also contributed to strengthening awareness, responsibility, and a spirit of gratitude toward generations who sacrificed for the nation’s independence and freedom.

Through this activity, TDTU INSPiRE Library continues to affirm its role as a learning and research space closely associated with political and ideological education, while progressively innovating its approaches to resource presentation and sustainably disseminating historical knowledge to the Library user community.
