As part of the 512th external assessment under the AUN-QA framework at Ton Duc Thang University, held from April 21–23, 2026, INSPiRE Library welcomed the AUN-QA expert panel for a site tour and working session on April 22. This activity was an important component of the comprehensive evaluation process aimed at assessing educational quality assurance conditions according to international standards established by the ASEAN University Network.
During the visit, INSPiRE Library introduced its academic ecosystem, featuring modern learning spaces, extensive information resources, and integrated learning and research support services designed with a learner-centered approach. Beyond providing access to resources, the Library emphasized its role in accompanying learners, lecturers, and researchers throughout the academic process, from information access and research skill development to support for scholarly publishing activities.
The AUN-QA expert panel showed particular interest in how the Library organizes and operates its services to meet the diverse needs of different academic programs. Many in-depth questions focused on the Library’s capacity to provide academic resources, the effectiveness of resource utilization, and solutions supporting learners and researchers in the context of digital transformation. Through direct discussions and on-site observations, the panel acknowledged the Library’s systematic preparation, operational consistency, and clear development orientation toward enhancing service quality.
Over the years, Ton Duc Thang University has continuously undergone various quality assurance assessments under the AUN-QA framework while also working with internationally recognized accreditation organizations such as HCERES, FIBAA, and ASIIN. Participation in the AUN-QA assessment process also provides INSPiRE Library with opportunities to benchmark against regional standards, receive recommendations from international experts, and continuously improve its operations. On that foundation, the Library continues to affirm its sustainable development orientation toward international standards.
