On the occasion of the 51st anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (30 April 1975 – 30 April 2026), TDTU INSPiRE Library organized a book exhibition themed around Vietnam’s national history and the country’s development journey during the period of peace and international integration. The exhibition took place from 15 April to 4 May 2026 on the first floor of the Library, attracting a large number of students to visit and explore.

Through the exhibition activities, a wide range of notable materials was introduced, including publications on the resistance war against the United States, the historic event of 30 April 1975, prominent historical figures, and Vietnam’s remarkable achievements during the renovation and development period. The displayed books, documents, and images were carefully selected and arranged in a visually engaging manner, helping visitors easily approach important milestones in the nation’s history. The exhibition thereby contributed to fostering political awareness, patriotism, and a sense of civic responsibility among students.

A highlight of this year’s exhibition was the application of Augmented Reality (AR) technology to selected key materials. By scanning designated materials, students were able to access additional content such as archival images, videos, and related historical data. This innovative experience not only modernized the way knowledge was delivered but also increased interaction and engagement, enabling learners to explore history in a more vivid and intuitive way.

Beyond its role in promoting and educating students about national historical traditions, the exhibition also contributed to enhancing the value of the Library’s existing collections while spreading reading culture within the student community. Through visiting and exploring the materials, students had further opportunities to develop self-learning abilities, critical thinking skills, and a deeper awareness of the values of peace and sustainable development in today’s context.

The 30 April book exhibition was one of the Library’s meaningful activities aimed at connecting knowledge, technology, and traditional education. Through this initiative, the Library continued to contribute to building an inspiring learning environment and strengthening students’ connection with the historical and cultural values of the nation.
