On the morning of October 29, 2025, the delegation from the Library of Pham Ngoc Thach University of Medicine visited and worked with the TDTU INSPiRE Library to exchange experiences and learn about the organization, management, and operation of a modern academic library.
The delegation was led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dang Chi Vu Luan – Director of the Library, Pham Ngoc Thach University of Medicine, accompanied by library officers in charge of professional services, communications and media, as well as technology and IT applications. Representing INSPiRE Library to welcome and work with the delegation were Mr. Trinh Phi Cuong, M.A. – Acting Director, Ms. Nguyen Thi Thuy Duong, M.A. – Deputy Director, along with staff members responsible for different functional areas.
During the visit, the delegation was introduced to an overview of TDTU Library’s organizational model, management approaches, user services, and modern facilities. The tour focused on exploring the functional space design, automated operation systems, room-booking services, collaborative learning areas, video rooms, and thematic exhibition spaces. The delegation also showed special interest in the application of information technology, automation, and digital transformation in library services at TDTU.
Following the tour, the two parties continued their working session at the Online Conference Room, engaging in a deeper discussion on service development directions, data management methods, digitalization trends, and professional collaboration. The meeting took place in a friendly, open, and professional atmosphere, reflecting the spirit of connection and knowledge exchange between two academic libraries that share a common vision of modernization and technology integration in library management.
This visit and professional exchange by the Pham Ngoc Thach University of Medicine Library at INSPiRE Library helped to strengthen mutual understanding, expand cooperation, and promote innovation values in academic library development, towards building a modern, creative, and user-centered learning and research environment.
