Sometimes, Tet does not arrive because of holiday announcements or streets newly adorned with red parallel couplets, but from a gentle, quiet urge within our hearts. It is the moment we find ourselves wanting to call home more often, longing to taste a familiar dish from the past, or listening to an old song without quite knowing why it suddenly feels so nostalgic. Tet is not always found in bustling celebrations, but in the brief pause when we simply crave something simple: to return, to feel at peace, to be beside the ones we love.
On the evening of January 16 at the Library Building, spring knocked on the door in a very different way. Music Night INSPiRE Rhythm #2 - “Tết ơi Tết à!”, unfolded like a warm gathering for TDTU students, faculty members, and distinguished guests—where music was not only meant to be heard, but also to be felt, remembered, and to gently touch each person’s memories.
More than a musical showcase, the event became a stage for student spirit and creativity. Familiar faces from the university’s cultural and artistic community came together to create the rhythm of youth: TDTU WeGrow Band, Singer Club, G4U Band, and TDT Band, delivering melodies that were heartfelt and deeply relatable. The evening grew even more meaningful with the presence of special guests who added depth to the program. Mr. Le Cong An (Department of Student Affairs) appeared on stage through music as a warm and approachable way to share, connect, and inspire. Musician Biso—the program’s guest artist—brought original compositions of his own, like tender and heartfelt confessions set to melody.
Alongside the musical performances, the program also brought vibrant energy through interactive activities. The Lucky Draw—an early spring lucky spin—created moments of suspense and delightful surprise, a symbolic “opening of good fortune” for the new year through simple yet complete joy. In addition, the mini game of guessing Tet songs through AI-generated vocals truly energized the hall with novelty and laughter. As familiar tunes were presented in an unexpected way, participants were both amused and excited to challenge their ability to recognize the songs.
As the series of spring-themed and Tet-inspired songs gradually guided the program toward its finale, what lingered was not “how many songs were performed,” but rather “how memorable the evening felt.” INSPiRE Rhythm #2 created a space of connection where we could truly listen to ourselves. The event also reaffirmed that the Library is not only an academic environment, but a place that nurtures spiritual well-being and builds a humane campus culture—aligned with the University’s philosophy of comprehensive human development.
Music Night INSPiRE Rhythm #2 - “Tết ơi Tết à!” has come to a close, yet the warmth remains in every moment: a melody that makes us want to return home sooner, a lyric that brings our loved ones to mind, and a laugh that lightens our hearts after a long year. The Organizing Committee sincerely thanks our guests, faculty members, student clubs, bands, and all students for coming together to create such an emotional and memorable night. May each of us, wherever we may be this spring, always hold on to what matters most: a place to return to, and a truly warm heart.
