Traditional culture is an essential part of national identity, reflecting the historical, spiritual, and artistic values of each community. In an era of rapid technological advancement, preserving and promoting cultural heritage has become even more crucial, requiring innovative and engaging approaches. To provide students with a unique cultural experience, the Inspire Library, in collaboration with the creators of the "Đồng Bào Việt Phục" ("Vietnamese Compatriots Costume") project, organized an Augmented Reality (AR) exhibition under the theme "Đồng Bào Việt Phục", creating a space where traditional values meet modern technology.

"Đồng Bào Việt Phục" is a distinctive project that combines artistic illustrations of the traditional attire of Vietnam’s 54 ethnic groups with Augmented Reality (AR) technology. More than just a visual showcase of ethnic costumes, the project integrates technology to recreate the distinctive traditional dances of each ethnic group. Throughout the exhibition, students had the opportunity not only to admire a meticulously illustrated collection of traditional attire but also to explore the interactive capabilities of AR. By scanning QR codes on the book’s pages, visitors could witness dynamic 3D representations of characters dressed in ethnic costumes, gracefully performing cultural dances to the rhythm of traditional music. This immersive experience engaged both sight and sound, offering an enriched appreciation of Vietnam's diverse folk heritage. Moreover, the exhibition provided students with a deeper understanding of ethnic cultures, allowing them to gain insight into the distinctive artistic and cultural values of Vietnam's many communities.

Beyond an artistic display, "Đồng Bào Việt Phục" carries a profound mission—to spread the love for national heritage within the community and among younger generations. As a nonprofit project, the program aims not only to introduce traditional attire but also to inspire national pride, encouraging young people to explore and preserve cultural values in the context of global integration. Hosting this exhibition at Tôn Đức Thắng University provided students with an innovative cultural education platform that blended fine arts, technology, and ethnic heritage.

The Augmented Reality (AR) exhibition "Đồng Bào Việt Phục" was part of the event series "Dare to Live a Radiant Life," organized by the Inspire Library in collaboration with internal and external partners. This initiative seeks to foster a spirit of discovery and appreciation for cultural and artistic values in students' lives.
