From April 17 to April 22, 2025, the INSPiRE Library – Ton Duc Thang University, in collaboration with Thai Ha Book Joint Stock Company (Thai Ha Books), organized the TDTU Student Book Fair 2025 in response to Vietnam Book and Reading Culture Day (April 21), aiming to promote the value of knowledge across the university community. As a highlight in the library’s 2025 activity calendar, the event attracted thousands of students and lecturers who came to browse, explore, and purchase books with attractive promotions from the publisher.
This year’s book fair showcased nearly 1,200 titles spanning a wide range of fields, including science, technology, economics, law, medicine, languages, personal development, life skills, and contemporary literature. Notably, many newly updated academic titles aligned with current curricula were featured, enabling students to access valuable resources directly supporting their studies and research.
The event space was designed to be open, intuitive, and user-friendly. Booths were organized into thematic sections, making it easy for visitors to navigate and choose books of interest. On-site staff were available to assist readers in selecting books suited to their academic focus and personal interests. Many students expressed excitement upon finding books that met their needs while also discovering newly released publications.
The success of the TDTU Student Book Fair 2025 was not only reflected in the number of participants and books distributed but also in the strong spirit of learning and intellectual curiosity it fostered within the student community. The INSPiRE Library continues to affirm its role as an open academic space, serving as a bridge between readers and knowledge, accompanying students in developing critical thinking, creativity, and humanistic values.
