May 19, 2024 - To commemorate the 134th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birth (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2024), INSPiRE Library collaborated with the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union at TDTU to organize a book and material exhibition on President Ho Chi Minh with the theme: "President Ho Chi Minh - Forever with the Nation" from May 14, 2024, to May 31, 2024.
At the event, Assoc. Prof.r Dr. Bui Loan Thuy, library manager, stated: “The book and material exhibition themed: "President Ho Chi Minh - Forever with the Nation" aims to honor the great contributions and dedication of Uncle Ho on the occasion of his 134th birth anniversary. It also reaffirms the immense values in Ho Chi Minh's thoughts and ethics, as well as the love and gratitude of the Vietnamese people in general and the students and staff at TDTU in particular towards him. In this exhibition, INSPiRE Library and the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union have selected books and videos that cover his thoughts, views, and teachings on education and learning. Through this activity, the organizers hope to promote and spread Ho Chi Minh's image, ideological, ethical, and stylistic heritage, and believe that his teachings on education and learning will always be a guiding principle for every student and worker at TDTU.”
Notably, this exhibition integrates augmented reality (AR) technology, allowing visitors to scan the displayed images to read books and view multimedia materials about Uncle Ho. This technology has been implemented in several academic events organized by the TDTU Library to help readers become familiar with one of the highly applicable technologies in education. During a visit and working session at TDTU on the morning of May 14, 2025, a delegation from the Central Propaganda Department, led by Comrade Doan Van Bau - Director of the Political Theory Department of the Central Propaganda Department, took time to tour the exhibition area and experience the integrated AR technology.
The exhibition not only helps students and staff at TDTU understand the life, career, and noble character of Uncle Ho but also educates them on patriotism, awakens the spirit of self-reliance, promotes the heroic tradition, the strength of national solidarity, and accelerates creativity and integration to build a richer, more beautiful, civilized, and modern Vietnam.
The book and material exhibition on President Ho Chi Minh, organized by INSPiRE Library in collaboration with the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union at TDTU, themed: "President Ho Chi Minh - Forever with the Nation," is held from May 14, 2024, and will run until May 31, 2024. Students and staff at TDTU can visit, read books, and materials about Uncle Ho, and experience AR technology at the Ho Chi Minh exhibition area on the 1st floor of the Library.
