To commemorate the 70th Anniversary of the historic Dien Bien Phu Victory, INSPiRE Library has organized a special panorama painting exhibition titled "The Battle of Dien Bien Phu" from May 6, 2024 to May 31, 2024.

The panorama painting "The Battle of Dien Bien Phu" is 3.21 meters long, consisting of 4 detailed content pages, 4 summary pages outlining the 56-day campaign in both Vietnamese and English, and 4 pages featuring the entire painting with over 4,500 characters, created from special editions of Nhan Dan Newspaper. The original panorama painting "The Battle of Dien Bien Phu" is a massive artwork, painted with oil on canvas, depicting the key moments of the battle of Dien Bien Phu.

One of the highlights of "The Battle of Dien Bien Phu" panorama painting is the integration of augmented reality (AR) technology and detailed scene viewing through QR code scanning. Visitors can use their phones to scan the QR codes on the painting or download an app to view the scenes of the battle of Dien Bien Phu in a vivid and detailed manner.

The event but also offers a new technological experience, allowing viewers to follow the campaign in an intuitive and vivid way. This is also an opportunity for students and staff at Ton Duc Thang University, especially the younger generation, to understand more about the Dien Bien Phu Victory and the significant historical values of this campaign.
