The Vietnam Buddhist University in Ho Chi Minh City’s Executive Council paid a visit to TDTU INSPiRE Library
June 21, 2022 - The Vietnam Buddhist University in Ho Chi Minh City’s Executive Council paid a visit to TDTU INSPiRE Library to get an insight into the current library practices such as procedures, work environment, learning resources and services, building designing, management efforts taking place in INSPiRE Library. With the help of this visit, the Executive Council could decide how learning spaces, interior design, technologies, facilities and equipment would be built up in the new library of the Vietnam Buddhist University.
The representatives of the Executive Council were Ven. Dr. Thich Nhat Tu, deputy rector; Ven. Dr. Thich Giac Hoang, Deputy Secretary General, Chief of Office, Dean of the Faculty of Distance Learning of the Vietnam Buddhist University in Ho Chi Minh City.
On this occasion, the Executive Council gave TDTU INSPiRE Library a collection of books on Buddhism written and edited by Ven. Dr. Thich Nhat Tu.
The new campus of Vietnam Buddhist University is in Le Minh Xuan Street, Binh Chanh District, Ho Chi Minh City. The University was named Van Hanh University from 1964 -1975, Vietnam Senior Buddhist School from 1983-1997, and was founded by Elder Thich Minh Chau and Thich Tri Quang.
